Hampden House, Oxfordshire

As a part of an ongoing long term plan to develop Monument Business Park, new serviced offices were built in 2001. The extensive landscape scheme includes a new communal 'green', large pond, sitting space and structure plantings. Native species combined with structural grasses and colourful winter stems gives the site a rural context. Now in the sixth phase of landscape work, the environment continues to improve for both tenants, visitors and wildlife.

Swaffham Retirement Homes, Norfolk

Now a mature scheme planted in 1989, the courtyard and colour-themed front garden plantings was designed for elderly residents to enjoy from their homes in all weathers. Scents, colour and year round interest still delight them.

Monument Business Park, Oxfordshire

Over the last six years SJLD has had continuous involvement with landscape improvements at this rural business park. With an emphasis on native plantings, structure and shelter, the park is evolving into an attractive and prestigious workplace for a wide variety of businesses.

University of Hertfordshire

A project sponsored by Redland stone to improve the main entrance to the university, completed in 1992. A series of paths and a central feature of two four ton rocks were put in as a back drop to the new University signage.
